James Moises, owner of Bizou Wines, is a native New Orleanian with Mid-City roots who combines wine, food, art and medicine in a unique way. With a background in Emergency Medicine and a passion for wine, James is a jack of all trades. Through Moises Wines and Krewe du Bizou Wines, James supports many local non-profits, all trying to make the city healthier and more vibrant.
Lesley manages the inventory, invoicing, and bookkeeping for Bizou Wines. Hailing from Birmingham, AL and a Tiger of a different color, Lesley graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in HRT from Auburn University. Prior to joining the Bizou Krewe, Lesley worked in non-profit organizations and in hotel sales with Ritz-Carlton & Hilton. Lesley’s passion is for arts and crafts and outside of work, Lesley enjoys the outdoors, traveling, and chasing after her two little girls.
Anna moved down to vibrant New Orleans in November 2015 after working and living at a Meditation Retreat Center in the peaceful Rocky Mountains of Colorado. Before her Colorado adventure, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media at DePaul University in Chicago. She discovered her love of wine while studying abroad and pursing photojournalism in Florence, Italy during her college career. Anna enjoys sipping red Italian wines and serving Italian/Southern dishes at Josephine Estelle in the Ace Hotel.
Stephen has always had an interest in food because of how he grew up. Living in Singapore during his formative years as a child helped develop his curiosity of smell and texture regarding food and beverage. He has been fortunate enough, over the last 16 years, to have worked for world class chefs and have learned wine from outstanding minds and palates in the field. After 13 years in the mid-Atlantic region, Stephen feels great being back in his adopted home of New Orleans. He looks forward to representing Bizou’s small farms and the work and passion they put in to each bottle while taking care of the city and our needs.
Tricia Grishaw has been with Bizou Wines since we first started in 2009. She began her career working in the service/bar industry. Now, she enjoys being on the other side of the wine industry by selling wine to businesses part-time. When Tricia is not tasting wine, you can find her slinging snoballs, serving drinks, or adding your accounting. Tricia enjoys being a Jack of all Trades, but always ends her day with a glass of wine. Ashley's love of fine wine began formatively in Italy when her mother met an Italian guide and speaker of 7 languages, who guided them through Europe in 1987. Flash forward, Ashley joined the Bizou team in the summer of 2017 with a new-found zest for the intricacies and delicacies of fine, pure wine. As a 4th generation New Orleanian, she loves her city and loves her broad spectrum of amazing clients. Bizou's portfolio fits into her approach of representing small, family-oriented wineries with an ever present personal touch. Ashley has a Master of Urban and Regional Planning and is a founder of the non-profit Freedom Sailing International. Ashley enjoys time with her two boys, traveling, delicious food, yoga and especially a great party.
Justin joined the Bizou team in December of 2018. Prior to joining Bizou, Justin was a owner and operator of a New Orleans restaurant. His passion for the new Orleans hospitality industry is deeply rooted. He manages several accounts throughout the metro area and is in charge of sales for the Baton Rouge market. Justin grew up in Lakeview, attended De La Salle High School and is a lifelong resident of New Orleans. He prides himself on his honesty, work ethic and a consistent drive for improvement. Justin enjoys spending his free time golfing, cooking, and spending time with his family.
